Offers a good, consistent menu that has never ceased to satisfy.  It's got the dark, rich steak house atmosphere without the heavy and pretentious menu. The best value of the Hillstone family.

Dutchman's Hideout

Somebody tell the Dutchman that he no longer needs to hide out.  This place is the quintessential Arizona that I envisioned as a small kid.  Great western atmosphere with a western menu that is enhanced with some modern garnishes.  Well worth the drive.

Red-blooded bliss.  One of the few places where you can get a steak that actually melts in your mouth. Yes, the meal will set you back a few bucks but between the menu offerings and the sort of distant North Scottsdale location it will provide a nice 'vacation-like' experience that is out of the ordinary.

                                                      
                                                              

Fogo de Chao Brazilian Steakhouse

An orgy of red meat and excess followed by two weeks of cleansing and fasting.  Try to not think of the starving children in Africa as you go through this debaucherous exercise.  I feel like I need to go to 'confession' every time I eat here.

Sure Donovan's or Mastro's might have steaks  that are better; nobody has the history or swagger that Durants has.  The place is a Phoenix institution and that alone is reason enough to visit.
